 Profiled as one of the youngest directors in the Kenyan civil society, Tabitha is the Chief Executive Officer of WilDAF Kenya. She holds a B.A. Sociology from the University of Nairobi and an ACCA from Strathmore University. Tabitha’s passion for women rights and emancipation began during her days of undergraduate studies while serving as a student leader in the students’ council (SONU) and in the Women Students Welfare Association (WOSWA) where she served as the Chairperson. Hers was a journey of self discovery and capacity building that: opened great doors into international conferences and platforms within and without Kenya; brought out the true purpose of her life and in a very significant way defined her career line at a young age. With over 5 years experience in gender and human rights work now, Tabitha is a human rights trainer, researcher and advocate of the young women and girls. She has a great passion for her work and for the young women particularly those in the colleges. She is very versatile, outgoing and does not believe in impossibilities.
Tabitha previously worked with Peace Tree Network – Africa as a Researcher and in January 2007 joined WiLDAF Kenya as a Program Assistant. She has since risen through the Program Officer level to her current position.
As WiLDAF Kenya CEO, Tabitha manages the day to day operations of the organization, is the link between management and the board, works in conjunction with the board and other stakeholders to determine the strategic direction and policies of the organization and oversees the recruitment process of the human resource for the organization.
Tabitha is an alumnus of the East Africa Uongozi Institute and a fellow of the Sexuality Leadership and Development Fellowship.
She has presented papers in various national and international conferences including the SIAS International University and University-Community Partnership for Social Action Research Network Virtual Conference 2010; Zhengzhou, China and the World Congress on Sexual Health 2009, Gothenburg, Sweden.
She holds a B.Sc. Food Science and Technology from the University of Nairobi.
She has joined WiLDAF in September 2011 from World Youth Alliance Africa. Felogene is greatly involved in coordinating WiLDAF’s events and activities and ensuring that they run accordingly. Felogene adds to the dynamic team of young and vibrant human resource that WiLDAF Kenya has, and brings on board immense knowledge that she has been able to amass through various forums. Her involvement in both local and international initiatives, has given her a multifaceted approach to issues of Women and Children rights, Social Justice and Development and Millennium Development Goals Advocacy.
She was Chairperson of The Women Students Welfare Association (WOSWA) at the University of Nairobi(2009/10). As a Women Student leader in the University Students Movement she was involved in championing for respect of young women, recognition of the voice of the campus girl and youth in general. Her contribution to the ongoing legal, democratic and constitutional reform agenda remains significant especially in the involvement of young women in the process.
Felogene is a self-motivated, very effective and a helpful team player. She strongly believes in learning from others and helping others where she can. She is also a strong believer in discipline, diligence and servant leadership.
Miss. Anumo believes in the spirit of diplomacy, activism, mobilization and intellectual engagement as a means of driving change in society.
 Lorraine is the Program Officer in charge of Implementation. This young and vibrant lady holds a B.A in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Nairobi. She also has a Certificate in Counseling. She has undergone intensive training in Policy Change and Implementation an area of work that has become a great passion for her.
Lorraine joined WiLDAF Kenya as an intern and has risen through the Program Associate level to her current position, the roles of which she ably executes.
She is a great team player and is very diligent with her work. She will be taking part in the Young Women’s Knowledge and Leadership Institute later this year in Dakar, Senegal; this being a programme under the African Women’s Millenium Initiative.
 Brenda is the Finance and Administration Officer and the latest entrant into WiLDAF Kenya’s vibrant Human Resource team. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and is a Certified Public Accountant. She previously worked as an accountant with the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort. She has also worked with Ungana Young Friends of AMREF, Broadview Consultants, the Sarova Stanley, the Flying Doctors’ Society of Africa, Sameer Africa among others.
 Reknown for her outstanding community mobilization skills in various slum communities in Kenya, Emily Aluoch is the Program Associate. She is a team player, versatile, always ready for action when duty calls and very passionate about her work. She is a Trainer of Trainers of prevention of sexual violence and expert trainer of defensive skills against sexual violence. She has over 5 years experience educating and working with communities on various societal concerns. She previously worked with I am Worth Defending.
