Wildaf Kenyas' Vision is:
The actualization of a (Kenyan) society in which women freely enjoy all their human rights.

WiLDAF was a major stakeholder and key partner in the pushing for the sexual offences Bill. After its enactment into Law WiLDAF has taken a forefront in ensuring its implementation.
Reference Manual on the Sexual Offences Act, 2006 for prosecutors
WiLDAF Kenya has in a joint collaboration with the Office of the Attorney General and in particular the Department of Public Prosecutions successfully developed a Prosecutors Training Manual on the Sexual offences Act 2006 in partnership with the Department of Public Prosecutions. The reference manual is intended as a training tool and reference material for those prosecuting sexual offences. It is aimed at enhancing the capacity and competence of prosecutors to more effectively and efficiently handle and prosecute cases involving sexual offences. It will also equip the prosecutor with the special skills necessary to relate with victims of sexual violence and vulnerable witnesses. The manual was launched by the Attorney General; Hon. S. Amos Wako, in December 2007 as a key prosecution document. It is now used as point of reference by prosecutors in sexual offences cases.
Law Enforcers’ Training Manual on the Sexual Offences Act, 2006.
We realized that the for the Sexual Offences Act to be embraced in our courts of law, it was key for the law enforcers who are obliged to draft charges for the reported offences in police stations to be well equipped with the contents of the Sexual Offences Act vis a vis the Penal code.
Most recently WiLDAF Kenya in joint collaboration with the Kenya Police and in particular the Director of Community Policing, Gender and Children Issues has finished developing a training manual for Law Enforcement officers on the Sexual Offences Act, 2006. The document has since been pilot tested in the Kenya Police College – Kiganjo, The CID Training School and the GSU Training School. As soon as the manual is launched by the Commissioner of Police, it is hoped that it shall then be entrenched into the training syllabi of the police force countrywide.
WiLDAF Kenya has also trained judges, magistrates, university student leaders and grassroots women leaders on the Sexual Offences Act.
